As part of the Ready To Learn service, Milwaukee Public Television offers schools, libraries and community organizations an opportunity to host a storytime geared to children aged 4 to 8.

Activities include the reading of age-appropriate books, audience participation, hand puppets and messages and materials about the importance of family reading and storytelling.

The storytimes are offered free of charge. A number of themes are available such as Imagination, Families, Self-Esteem, Change, Holidays, Arthur Adventures and others. To arrange for a storytime and request a theme please call Darlyne Haertlein, Community Relations Supervisorat (414) 297-7518.
